with the knowledge and tools to monitor their environment and
take action for positive environmental change.

There are many ways to get involved with EcoSpark.
As a Program Participant:
Teachers and students can get involved through the Changing Currents and Wattwize programs.
Community members can attend workshops, monitor development on the Oak Ridges Moraine, or assist with Check Your Watershed Day through the Monitoring the Moraine program.
As a volunteer:
The EcoSpark education team recruits volunteers in the Spring and Fall as Changing Currents assistants. Volunteers need to be be able to commit one day a week between September and November, or late-April and June. All volunteers will need a Police Reference Check. EcoSpark also regularly looks for volunteers for specific roles (eg. social media, fundraising, etc). For infomation on these opportunities, please see our Volunteer Opportunities page.
