Engaging students and teachers in electricity conservation projects in their schools through workshops, student-led Electricity audits, and more!

Since 2005, EcoSpark has worked with grade 5-12 classes, Environment Clubs, and EcoTeams across the Greater Toronto Area (Toronto, Peel, Durham, and York school boards) to help them discover more about electricity conservation and to engage in real electricity conservation initiatives at their schools.

By participating in the program, students will:

  • learn about electricity generation,
  • conduct a school electricity audit,
  • create and implement an electricity conservation program, and
  • have the chance to enter the Conservation Champions Contest

  • If you are a teacher, visit  the Teacher Area to learn more about Wattwize, register for Wattwize 2010, or access resources.

If you are a student, visit the Student Area to learn more about electricity and running an electricity audit.
