If you want to conserve electricity at your school, the first thing you have to ask is: How is my school wasting electricity?
To answer accurately, you need to run an electricity audit, an accurate examination of electricity consumption at your school. You need to look at three areas:
Of these, behaviours is the easiest area in which to effect change in your school, so we'll concentrate primarily on that. However, we'll also look at appliances and infrastructure, since you can make suggestions to your principal or school board about changes in those areas as well.
