Liane Langstaff is an Environmental Lawyer at the law firm Gowling WLG LLP in Toronto. Liane advises private, municipal and indigenous clients, providing legal advice and representation in the areas of environmental assessments and approvals, land use planning, contaminated sites, energy and climate change. As an Environmental Sciences (B.Sc.), Law and MBA graduate, Liane is interested in the intersection of science, policy and sustainable business. In her free time, Liane takes every opportunity to enjoy the outdoors - whether it is hiking the Inca Trail in Peru or running and biking on local trails in the Don Valley watershed. In her role on the EcoSpark Board, she brings her passion for environmental education and the capacity for citizen science to inspire the next generation of scientists and environmental professionals.
