Join us for an exciting walk-a-thon
Welcome to Walk on the Wild Side an exciting WALK-A-THON FUNDRAISING event like no other!
Your Journey, Your Impact πͺ
Join us for a Walk-a-thon that gets you outside, connecting with nature and loved ones to show your support for environmental action in your city.
Hereβs the steps π£:
β Sign up and set a goal!
Customize your profile on CanadaHelps peer-to-peer fundraising site LINK β
Set a goal for yourself β a goal of how much you want to raise! Anything can be accomplished if you set your mind to it π
β Share your profile / recruit donors
Review this guide, which includes tips for sharing your message
Tell your friends and family why you are raising money to support EcoSpark
β Go on your walk (the easy part!)
Step 1) There are three ways you can participate or βwalkβ
Join a scheduled group walk β make new friends and meet someone from the EcoSpark team.
Host your own walk β a low pressure way to get involved, where you can walk with family and/or friends on your time. Share a picture and tag @ecospark_env or #ecospark and #walkonthewildside, weβd love to see and repost your support if you like!
Simply set up a page β you donβt have to go on a walk to show your support! Participate by pledging a donation goal and creating a page to collect support for EcoSpark.
Step 2) Get involved in community (citizen) science! Bring your phone or camera along and you can record your findings to iNaturalist
βΊοΈ Celebrate your milestones and share your progress
Update your friends/family about your progress on your goal. They want to help and support you in any way they can, and are excited to be a part of your journey.
